Hey y’all, Latasha here.
What you’re about to read is a note from our monthly newsletter, updated for our blog. (It’s called content repurposing 😉)
First off, I’d like to commend all of us for making it this far through 2020. It has not been easy.
On a personal note, I have been dealing with the quarantine and the pandemic in the only way an Enneagram 1 individual with a chronic condition can: with a lot of internet arguing, isolating, obsessive cleaning, dark humor, and panic attacks.
Now, with protests and riots all over the U.S. in the name of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and all the other people who have been killed simply for being black, I feel even more of my Enneagram 1 come out.
The need to research, to advocate for those in pain, to understand how my actions affect others, to understand how we all coexist together.
I write all of this not because it’s a bandwagon moment, but because it’s the exact opposite. Because we’re all in this together, and I want all of us to do better. It also means making my stance — and the stance of those who help me run this business — extremely clear. |
